Prioritizing the Health of Our Miniature Australian Shepherd Parents

At our breeding facility, we prioritize the health and well-being of our Miniature Australian Shepherd parents to ensure the best possible start for our puppies. Our comprehensive approach includes rigorous health screenings and genetic testing for both parents. This helps us identify and minimize the risk of inheritable diseases and conditions, ensuring that our puppies are born with the best genetic foundation possible.

In addition to genetic testing, we are committed to maintaining the vitality of our bloodlines by avoiding the mating of closely related dogs. This practice helps us preserve the robustness and diversity of our lines, promoting long-term health and resilience in our dogs.

Nutrition is another cornerstone of our care regimen. We provide a high-quality, meat-based diet consisting of TLC kibble combined with raw food. To further support their well-being, we supplement their diet with Nu-Vet, a top-tier supplement known for its effectiveness. This balanced and nutritious approach contributes to the physical and mental health of our dogs, ensuring they grow into happy, healthy puppies.

Ensuring Optimal Health and Wellness for Your New Puppy

Before your Miniature Australian Shepherd puppy joins your family, we take comprehensive steps to ensure their health and well-being. Our vaccination protocol includes administering vaccines for Distemper and Parvo at both 5 and 7 weeks of age. Additionally, we implement a deworming schedule at 2, 4, 6, and 8 weeks to maintain their internal health.

To ensure a perfect match between your new puppy and your family, we conduct detailed personality assessments around 7 weeks of age. These evaluations help us understand each puppy's unique traits and ensure they are well-suited to their new home, setting the stage for a harmonious and happy relationship.

Comprehensive Lifetime Health Warranty

We are proud to offer a unique lifetime health warranty for our Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies. This exceptional warranty covers any life-threatening genetic or congenital conditions that may arise, providing you with peace of mind throughout your puppy's life. Enrichment and Socialization for Our Miniature Australian Shepherd Puppies

At our facility, the early development of our Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies is a top priority. Our puppies are born and raised indoors, where they benefit from attentive care and a nurturing environment.

We follow a modified puppy culture approach to ensure optimal enrichment and socialization. Our puppies interact with a variety of stimuli, including engaging toys, attentive "Aunties and Uncles," and a diverse group of companions such as cats, chickens, and goats. This variety helps them develop well-rounded social skills.

Additionally, we expose our puppies to a range of desensitization experiences, including white noise, music, television sounds, and the noises of everyday life like cars, tractors, and lawnmowers. This exposure helps them adapt confidently to different environments and situations, setting them up for a well-adjusted and happy future.

Registration Information

Each of our Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies comes with AKC registration under the Australian Shepherd breed category (covering all sizes; find out more about this classification [here]). The registration provided will be "limited," indicating a non-breeding status.

Our puppies are sold with a non-breeding contract and should be spayed or neutered between 12 and 24 months of age. If you are interested in obtaining full breeding rights, please reach out to us to discuss the details further.

(* Personality Matching involves you completing an Owner Questionnaire so we can ascertain what temperament puppy would suit you best. When the pups are close to 7 weeks old we put them each through 8 personality tests that result in them getting a score which reveals their personality. This allows us to match owners with their best fit puppy and ensures that inexperienced owners or those with very small children don't end up with boisterous, high energy dogs. More info on Puppy Personality Matching, including case studies are here: https://www.dogbreedinginformation.com/puppy-personality-matching/ )

***Laudrick Aussies has been a "closed" kennel since 2019. As we saw with the Pandemic, germs are quickly passed with sometimes catastrophic consequences. We were touched decades ago with Parvo, brought in with an unsuspecting visitor, but with heartbreaking results to our kennel and we never want to experience that again.

We do have a puppy visitation cabin planned for the future which will be at the front gate of our farm and no where near our doggy areas. But until that is completed, we will (for the safety and health of our dogs) remain closed. We are also in the process of getting videos of our adult dogs at work and play so that our puppy parents-to-be can see the personalities of our Moms and Dads.

We appreciate your patience and understanding.
